Chittoor Bus Stand

Chittoor Bus Stand is the third largest bus terminus in Vellore city. Here, the statue of C. N. Annadurai attracts your attention. From here, you can board on buses going to Gudiyatham, Walaja, Arcot, Ranipet, Thiruvalam, and Muthukadai. There are shops and public shelter too in this bus stand. This stand was the starting point for buses plying to Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. Hence, it got its name as Chittoor Bus Stand.

Town Buses No.1 and No.2 in Vellore

Both these No.1 and No.2 buses are labelled as Katpadi-Bagayam. These buses go in opposite directions. Town Bus No.1 goes via Thorapadi to College Main gate, opposite Bank and Post Office. This bus goes to CHAD hospital entrance, then to Otteri and then back to Vellore.

Town Bus No.2 goes past Schell hospital from where it proceeds to Otteri and then reaches Bagayam. In Bagayam, it stops outside CHAD hospital entrance, then goes to College Main gate near Scudder Auditorium. Henceforth, it goes back to Vellore city. Distance from CMC to Vellore Bus Stand is only 1 Km.
